Dhaka: On July 25, 2019, CodersTrust Bangladesh celebrated another batch ending program and certificate ceremony with recent graduates at their Banani Head Office, in Dhaka. The program consisted of several hundreds of students from 17 recent batches, all of whom successfully completed their 3 month skill development courses, and are now equipped to work and earn independently as part of a global workforce, whether it is as an independent freelancers, professional job-holders or entrepreneurs.
Recent courses focused on high-demand global IT skills such as Graphics Design, Web Development, Digital Marketing and more, all of which are designed to help excel ones career. In presence of co-founder and global business leader Aziz Ahmad, the participants were awarded course completion certificates, and special crests were awarded to those who were recognized as exceptional performers in the categories of “Best Student” and “First Jobs”.
With a philosophy of “Get a Mentor, Be a Mentor”, the organization aims to empower the learners of today to be the trainers of tomorrow. So that together, it would be possible to create a cycle of human capital development. According to co-founder Aziz Ahmad, “It is most crucial to develop skill among the youth workforce of your nation, only then it will be possible to empower ourselves and our nation. That is why we work for impact maximization, not profit maximization.” In lights of that message, CodersTrust has been providing upto 50% scholarshipsto help maximize the results.
“Those who graduated from CodersTrust previously have already established themselves as skilled professionals, working as freelancers or entrepreneurs, we hope that those who are graduating from these batches will do the same or even better”, said Ataul Osmani, the country director of CodersTrust Bangladesh.
In today’s digital age of globalization, skill building is critically important to empower youths, and to rescue them from the unfortunate episodes of unemployment or severe underemployment. As Bangladesh economy has experienced tremendous growth in services and Information Technology, it is possible to carry this momentum and multiply it by equipping the younger generation with the right set of skills. CodersTrust was born to foster entrepreneurship in youth communities who want to thrive to further economic growth in Bangladesh and beyond. With that spirit and sentiment in mind, CodersTrust has successfully trained more than 50,000 students globally, and is pursuing the dream of making employment opportunities equal for everyone, while aiming to make a significant impact on the SDG plan of the Bangladesh Government, and hoping to work with governing bodies such as the National Skill Development Authority to maximize the impacts.
